About the Journal

Cendekia: Jurnal Hukum, Sosial dan Humaniora is a periodic publication of scientific works originating from thoughts and research written by academics, legal experts. Cendikia is a multidisciplinary journal that focuses on research in the fields of law, social and humanities. This journal is published four times a year (January, April, July and October) by the Central Institute for Social and Humanities Studies [LPS2H]. This journal contains articles of thought and research written by academics, experts, scientists, practitioners, and reviewers in all disciplines of law, social and humanities.

The specialty of this journal is that it publishes articles in contemporary legal studies with an interdisciplinary approach. This journal will publish scientific articles in the fields of law, social and humanities that are sourced from thoughts and research. The scope of this journal relates to research results in the fields of law, economics, politics, education, communication, Islamic law, government science, human rights frameworks, socio-cultural, medical law, forensic, linguistics & philology, art, archaeology, literature, philosophy, history, procedural law, language, cyber law, and other social & humanities science fields.

Cendekia: Jurnal Hukum, Sosial dan Humaniora will publish the only paper strictly following guidelines and manuscript preparation. All submitted manuscripts are going through a double-blind peer review process. Those papers are read by editorial members (upon field of specialisation) and will be screened by Managing Editor to meet necessary criteria of publication in two weeks. Every submitted manuscript which passes this step will be checked by Turnitin to identify any plagiarism. Manuscripts will be sent to two reviewers, based on their historical experience in reviewing manuscript or based on their field of specialisation. The time period for review is three weeks. After receiving the payment, the articles are then published within two months from the payment date.

Cendekia: Jurnal Hukum, Sosial dan Humaniora has reviewing forms in order to keep same items reviewed by two reviewers. Then editorial board will make a decision upon the reviewers comments or advice. Reviewers will give their assessment on originality, clarity of presentation, contribution to the field/science.

Cendekia: Jurnal Hukum, Sosial dan Humaniora has four kind of decisions:

• Accepted, as it is
• Accepted by Minor Revisions(let authors revised with stipulated time)
• Accepted by Major Revisions(let authors revised with stipulated time)
• Rejected(generally, on grounds of outside of scope and aim, major technical description problems, lack of clarity of presentation).

This journal is an open-access journal that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full text of all published articles without charging readers or their institutions for access. Readers have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in the Cendekia : Jurnal Hukum, Sosial dan Humaniora. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange. Archiving Policy

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. All content in the the Global LOCKSS Network is preserved with explicit publisher permission, secured via written contract or through online permission statements. We work closely with LOCKSS network implementers to facilitate development of governance and legal terms that are appropriate to the implicated content, jurisdictions, rights, and access affordances. This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR) Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Fast-Track Review: 0.00 (IDR) With the payment of this fee, the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript is guaranteed to take place within 4 weeks.

Article Publication: 500,000.00 (IDR) If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs. If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.

The submitted manuscript would be check by Editorial Team for plagiarism using Turnitin. Before sending the manuscript to reviewers, the member of the Editorial Team will first check the similarity/plagiarism by using the Turnitin tool. The manuscripts which have a similarity score of more than 25% without any excluding, tending not free from plagiarism or self-plagiarism, will immediately be rejected by Editorial Team.
